1000 Strong for Children

Championing the Bravery and Strength of Every Child in Williamson County.

These are Our Children.

In Williamson County, we care deeply about our community. We believe this is a safe place to raise children. But the reality is this:

Every year, hundreds of children in our county are referred to Davis House Child Advocacy Center after experiencing abuse.

These are not distant statistics.
They are our children. Our neighbors. Our children’s classmates.
Families sitting beside us at church, school events, and ballgames.

Their healing begins the moment they walk through our doors.

Join us today in creating a safer community for all our children.

How Davis House CAC is Funded

Davis House serves children and families in Williamson County through forensic interviews, advocacy, therapy, and prevention education.

But many people are surprised to learn how little government funding supports this work:

  • 15% comes from state grants

  • 1% comes from federal grants

  • 84% comes directly from community support

That means the vast majority of our funding comes from individuals, families, churches, and businesses right here in Williamson County.

We are funded by the community because we serve the community.

Imagine What 1,000 People Could Do

If 1,000 people commit to giving $100 per month, Davis House CAC would be fully funded by our community.

No uncertainty.
No dependence on unstable funding streams.
No hesitation in saying yes to a child who needs help.

Just a community that stands together and says:

“We will take care of our children.”
