Julia joined Davis House in December of 2022 as a Child & Family Advocate along with Nurturing Parenting Educator in the Centerville location. Julia received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Martin. She has presented research on child sexual abuse at many Psychology conferences along with research on the effects of testifying as a child in the court. She previously served as a Child & Family advocate intern at the Child Advocacy center in Martin, TN, and taught Nurturing Parenting courses to inmates in the local jails. In her free time, Julia enjoys spending time with family, riding horses, and relaxing with her dog, Toby.
