Carolyn Evans, MS
Carolyn joined Davis House in January of 2016. As Program Director, she provides leadership and support for the Davis House direct service programs. In addition, she coordinates the Child Protective and Investigative Team (CPIT) meetings, multidisciplinary team communications and professional development trainings, as well as providing child abuse prevention trainings to the public. She is a trained Forensic Interviewer and Victim Advocate, and an authorized facilitator of the Stewards of Children child abuse prevention program.
Carolyn has her Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and her Master’s degree in Community Agency Counseling. She has been in the social services field for almost 20 years and has had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings. She has experience in working with children and families in residential treatment settings, private school environments, and with children in the foster care system and juvenile court. When Carolyn is not at work, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband William and their young daughter.
