Brittany joined Davis House as the Director of Prevention Education in June of 2022.  Brittany received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work from Middle Tennessee State University (Go Blue Raiders!).  Brittany is also a Licensed School Social Worker.  Brittany brings with her over 7 years of experience in child welfare, having been previously employed by the Department of Children’s Services as a trained Child Protective Services Investigator.  There, Brittany investigated allegations of severe abuse and neglect, including sex trafficking and child death.  Brittany also completed a 3-week CPS Investigator Training Academy from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations.  In 2018, Brittany was awarded Child Protective Investigative Team Award after being nominated by her peers.

Brittany lives in Murfreesboro with her husband, daughter, and two dogs.  When she’s not at work, Brittany enjoying spending time with her family, traveling, and cheering on the Tennessee Titans!
